BLACK MEN
VOTE 501c3
In 2020, BMV worked extensively on the ground, in order to turn out and register black voters at a historical level during the general election and Georgia run-offs. The goal of Black Men Vote is to help our communities to thrive and inform all black men about the importance of voting, as well as educate them on important matters which disproportionally affects our community. Black Men Vote will travel across the country to meet our people where they live.

ABOUT US
2020: THE YEAR BLACK MEN SAID,
‘HOLD UP’!!
Black voters now make up 12.5% of the U.S. electorate with Black Americans eligibility to vote reaching a record level of 30 million in 2020. During the general election of 2020, we witnessed the maturation of Black Men who decided collectively that a change was gonna come and that meant voting by any means necessary, damn the pandemic! 2020 was the year that Black voters finally felt their power. Black Men who never felt like their vote mattered, now see that they can help shape a policy agenda. However, our work isn’t done yet! Black Men still grossly lag behind Black women in voting.
The mission of Black Men Vote is to inform all black men (particularly age 18-35) to vote at all levels of government, including local, state and federal. BMV is a non-profit incorporated in Washington DC and registered with the Federal Election Commission.
