Black Men Vote & Senator Aaron Rouse Host Virginia Town Hall
Norfolk, VA – Black Men Vote (BMV) in partnership with Virginia Senator Aaron Rouse will host a pivotal community town hall at Norfolk State University on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at 6 p.m.
This public event will convene elected officials, organizers, students, faith leaders, and civic stakeholders to discuss how Black men across Virginiacan build lasting civic power and influence.
“Virginia is not just another state. It’s home,” said Michael Bland, Executive Director of Black Men Vote, a Virginia native. “This townhall marks a continuation of our long-term commitment to grassroots organizing, civic education, and community empowerment across the Commonwealth.”
